Topless pools are the hottest new amenity in Las Vegas. Topless pools, or European Pools as the are sometimes more discretely called, have been around for a while, but support for the concept seems to be stiffening up. While these pools are also some times referred to as clothing optional pools, it is really female bikini tops which are optional. Outright nudity, for anyone other than female models, is discouraged or forbidden.
Cesars Palace opened the first topless pool on the strip, but management has been discrete the topless pool's existence. Mandalay Bay added its topless swimming pool in 2003 and now Stratosphere has Beach Club 25 and the Mirage has Bare Pool Lounge. But the hottest topless pool in town is the Wynn Topless Pool at the Wynn hotel.
A lot of things like your money and dignity come and go in Las Vegas, but the topless pool trend seems to have legs. In a recent, unofficial public opinion poll conducted on Vizu's network or entertainment oriented websites, 43% of respondents felt that the topless pool trend would become a long standing part of the Vegas experience and another 32% said that the trend would catch on and move beyond Las Vegas.
