Baywatch for Children

Back in April, Televen TV station spokeswoman Elba Guillen announced that her TV station in Venezuela had pulled The Simpsons from its 11:00 a.m. time slot because, "They [the station management] consider it to be a series that isn't appropriate for that time because it isn't appropriate for children."

Surprisingly, however, the station replaced The Simpsons with what the station ostensibly thought to be a more child friendly Baywatch Hawaii.

About a quarter of the respondents to a recent public opinion poll on the Vizu Answers research network feel that neither show is appropriate for children.  But about three times more people feel that Baywatch Hawaii is less appropriate than The Simpsons.

Pam Anderson - Rick Salomon Divorce Imminent

Sex symbol Pamela Anderson filed for dissolution of her marriage to Rick Salomon in the middle of December last year.  But the couple that got married in Las Vegas between two magic shows that Anderson was working one evening is supposedly working things out for the time being.

Despite the fact that Pam and Rick are "working it out," the majority of people who responded to an opinion research poll conducted on Vizu's network of entertainment oriented websites over the last two weeks of December, think that Pamela and Rick will be divorced by the middle of 2008.

Pamela Anderson A Bigger Star Than Baywatch Bud David Hasslehoff

Baywatch stars and sex symbols still captivate audiences and fill the tabloids despite the fact that the show ended in 2001.  Many stars graced the cast of Baywatch, but with the possible exception of Carmen Electra, stars David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson arguably garner the most attention these days.

So who was Baywatch's bigger gift to humanity, David Hasselhoff or Pamela Anderson.  According to a recent public opinion survey on Vizu's network of entertainment oriented websites, it was Pamela Anderson, hands down.  In the poll, sex symbol Anderson and her two ever present co-stars received 70% of the vote.

Pamela Anderson's new husband, poker player Rick Solomon, made an infamous sex tape with Paris Hilton.  Pamela Anderson made a steamy sex tape with her first husband, Tommy Lee, the Motley Crue drummer.  Pamela Anderson and Bret Michaels, lead singer of glam metal band Poison, also made a sex video that became an internet sensation.  A new sex tape featuring Rick Solomon and Pamela Anderson should be on its way to a website near you soon enough.

According to public opinion research conducted on Vizu's network of entertainment oriented websites, a whopping 86% of the respondents think that Pamela Anderson and Rick Solomon will make a sex tape.  Perhaps they already have...

Tommy Lee Beats Kid Rock This Time

Kid Rock may have tried to beat up Tommy Lee at the MTV movie awards, but Tommy Lee still beats Kid Rock when it comes to being a "thug."

By know you have probably read or watched the video of Pamela Anderson's ex-husbands' dust up at the MTV music awards.  From all accounts, it was Kid Rock who started things by punching Tommy Lee during Alicia Keys' performance.  And, in fact, Kid Rock, was the only one charged in the incident.  His status as "primary aggressor" landed him a misdemeanor battery charge.

So if if Kid Rock (or Kid Pebble as Tommy Lee calls him) was the bad guy in this incident, why does the public still think that Tommy Lee is the bigger thug?  (Maybe it had to do with reports that Tommy Lee recently had sex with some chick in public at a nightclub.)

In a recent public opinion survey conducted on Vizu's network of entertainment oriented websites, 60% of respondents say they think Tommy Lee is a bigger thug than Kid Rock whose real name is Robert Ritchie.

Pamela Anderson sure knows how to pick 'em.  Fortunately for her, she also knows how to dump them.  Her more recent marriage to Kid Rock lasted all of four months while she endured a three year marriage to Tommy Lee.
