Lacey Schwimmer and her celebrity partner, Steve-O from Jackass, were eliminated from Dancing with the Stars last week. Steve-O's elimination was no surprise given that he cannot dance, though at least he had the charisma and determination to last longer than a few of the other dance-challenged stars.
Steve-O might not have been too disappointed leaving the show given that he had no chance to win, but was Lacey disappointed that she would no longer get to make music with Steve-O?
Lacey Schwimmer is in the final four. We at Vizuble are proud that we (early on) hitched our wagons to Julianne Hough and Lacey Schwimmer. Perhaps we've got some scouting talent in us?
But now it's crunch time and Lacey is going up against some very stiff competition. Let's do a quick review.
Danny is, in our mind, the best dancer of the bunch, but isn't exactly the most entertaining. And this is about finding America's favorite dancer - not America's best dance. Let's be clear about that from the start.
Sabra is a dark horse, picking up momentum as the judges sing her praises. She's certainly got all the skills, but doesn't quite have the big flourish that some of the other contestants, both former and current have possessed. And her off-camera demeanor has gone from 'aw shucks I'm thrilled to be here' to extremely confident, borderline cocky in some cases.
Neil. He's the real threat don't you think? He's a very good dancer and perhaps an even better actor. Credit Wade Robson for breaking him out of that shell and showing him how to really connect and communicate. And Come on, put black hair on Neil and he's the spitting image of Joaquin Phoenix! If we were rooting for anyone other than Lacey, it would be Neil.
Lacey is good, accomplished and working every angle. Even she noted that her butt was in some of the cameras.
Lacey makes it look easy, and her mannequin portrayal was fantastic and under-rated as far as we're concerned.
So, now it's time for fans to weigh in, who will win Season 3 of So You Think You Can Dance?
As I surfed the Internet looking for Lacey Schwimmer news and photos (for our recent post)I found evidence that suggests that Lacey and Hok are an item.
Sure, they could just be friends. But these are photos from Lacey's own MySpace Fansite. And what you see is just as important as what you don't see. You don't see photos of Lacey getting cozy with Kameron or any other guys from So You Think You Can Dance.
We'd recently said that a coupling of the two would result in Hokey, but the photos are titled as Lawk. We agree that this is a far better mashup romance name, so kudos to your creativity.
We're a bit worried that this romance could come to a standstill though, since Hok has had a rough few weeks. In actuality, Vizuble thinks the choreographers let Hok down and not the other way around, but saying that would seem quite arrogant. Nevertheless, we think this is true, and hope Hok sticks around for the final 10.
So what does this do to those Kamcey fans? They overwhelmingly felt that Kameron and Lacey would hook up, but now things seem to have changed. Is Kamcey over? Where do these fans go? Will they stick with Kameron or Lacey?
And what about Jamie who, on camera, has hinted that she's got a crush on the breaking, braided hunk. Will this result in tension if they're in the final 10?
There are some, we're sure, who will say that none of this matters. That all that matters is the dancing and that the relationships aren't part of the show. Piffle we say!!

Lacey Schwimmer will be in the final 10 of this year's So You Think You Can Dance. I don't have to wait for tonight's results to make this statement. That's right, it's not a prediction, but a statement of fact. She's too popular and the judges like her and the show needs her to continue and so does the post-show dance tour.
Soon America will have the chance to vote every week, and we'll begin to see if Lacey has the legs for this competition (wow, it was a stretch for that pun.) So as we get to the nitty-gritty, has Lacey turned the corner and won over those 'haters' who thought she was only there because of her brother Benji? A previous Lacey Schwimmer Poll seems to indicate that she's done just that.
Last night Lacey and Kameron did a Hip Hop routine where Lacey played a rather naughty, minx like character. Thing is, she seemed very good at it! So, is she just a good actress (we could believe that) or is she closer to that naughty girl than we first thought?
This season's two dance related reality TV shows have touched heart strings with family related sub-plots among the dancers.
Julianne Hough, the professional dancer who won Dancing with the Stars with her celebrity dance partner, Apolo Anton Ohno, was joined by her brother, Derek, in one episode. In that episode, Derek Hough, also did a special celebrity guest dance. On the other hand, this season on So You Think You Can Dance Lacey Schwimmer, the sister of last season's winner, Benji Schwimmer, is a contestant.
Both families clearly have dancing in their blood, but which family can really cut the rug? In a recent public opinion poll conducted across the Vizu Answers network of entertainment related websites, Hough vs. Schwimmer was a split decision. With 189 votes counted, it was a statistical tie with 50% of respondents selecting each brother and sister pair as the best dancers.
But the questions in no way stop there...
Sure it's a dance competition but you can't help but hear the whispers of who might be falling for who, particularly after that kiss on the cheek after Lacey and Kameron's quick step routine. But rumors are that perhaps Lacey has her eye on Hok. You be the judge!
So the question remains is it going to be Kamcey or Hokey? (I doubt there will come a time when they pick the 'Hokey Pokey' out of the hat - and apart from that this mashup romance name is a real loser.) And don't forget to vote in our Lacey Schwimmer Pics and DWTS versus SYTYCD polls!
