Lacey Schwimmer's Crush on Jackass' Steve-O

Lacey Schwimmer and her celebrity partner, Steve-O from Jackass, were eliminated from Dancing with the Stars last week. Steve-O's elimination was no surprise given that he cannot dance, though  at least he had the charisma and determination to last longer than a few of the other dance-challenged stars.

Steve-O might not have been too disappointed leaving the show given that he had no chance to win, but was Lacey disappointed that she would no longer get to make music with Steve-O?

Julianne Hough Leaving Dancing with the Stars

Now that Julianne Hough has been on Dancing with the Stars for several seasons, has launched a successful country music career, and recently won the Best New Artist award at the Academy of Country Music Awards, she is arguably more famous than most of the "stars" that compete in Dancing with the Stars.  Heck, she is even more of a star than her boyfriend, Chuck Wicks, with whom she is dancing on this season of Dancing with the Stars.

Given that Julianne is more of a star than the other stars which is arguably a big advantage for anyone partnered with her, should she be asked to leave Dancing with the Stars to keep the competition more fair?

Friends (Aniston/Cox) vs. Friends (Cyrus/Hudgens)

Will best friends Vanessa Hudgens and Miley Cyrus achieve the heights that best friends Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston have?  Perhaps they already have. But BFFs Aniston and Cox are more talented than Cyrus and Hudgens according to an online survey conducted on Vizu's Power Polls network.  Of course, Miley and Vanessa still have a few years to hone the crafts, then again Jennifer and Courtney do to.

 

Jennifer Aniston & Angelina Jolie on Dancing with the Stars

Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston are not exactly B list celebrities; so, they probably do not qualify for Dancing with the Stars.  But imagine for a moment that the producers of DWTS made a compromise for a ratings extravaganza and convinced Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie to compete on Dancing with the Stars.  Which one of these beautiful celebrities would win a Dancing with the Stars Showdown?

That precise question was recently posed on the Vizu Power Polls network and after 1357 responses, it was virtually a toss-up.  50.9% of the respondents picked Brad Pitt's current lady friend over his ex-wife.

If this contest were to happen, professional dancers Mark Ballas and Derek Hough have already chosen who they want to dance with.  Mark wants Jennifer, while Derek wants Angelina.

 

Zac Efron Ain't No Footloose Kevin Bacon

For a young man, heartthrob Zac Efron, has some solid singing and dancing chops given his roles in High School Musical, High School Musical 2, High School Musical 3, and Hairspray.  But reprising Kevin Bacon's iconic roll in Footloose is not child's play.

Zac Efron has been cast as Ren McCormack, Bacon's former roll, in a remake of Footloose that is due out in 2010, but in many people's minds it unclear that Efron is up to the task.

In a public opinion poll recently conducted on the Vizu Answers market research network, 58% of respondents think Zac Efron's performance will be inferior to Kevin Bacon's.  Another 20% think the peformances will be about equal, and only 22% (probably mostly teenage girls) think Efron will be better than Bacon.

Brooke Burke vs. Stacy Keibler on Dancing with the Stars

Though it is unclear that she has the fan base necessary to win, Brooke Burke is clearly the best dancer on Dancing with the Stars this season.  Will she win like Kelly Monaco did on the first season of DWTS or will she fumble in the finals like Stacy Keibler did in season two of Dancing with the Stars?

Sexy Country Music Starlettes Jessica Simpson & Julianne Hough

Jessica Simpson and Julianne Hough of Dancing with the Stars fame both released country music albums this year.  Both have had songs that have done quite well partly propelled by sexy music videos of the two young lovelies.

But which girls career will have the most legs?  According to a recent public opinion poll it is just about a toss up between Julianne and Jessica.  Just a couple more participants in a recent Vizu Answers market research poll, think that Julianne Hough will have the bigger country music career.

Madonna and Alex Rodriguez Relationship Re-ignites

Well is sure did not take long for Madonna to hook back up with Alex Rodriguez (A-Rod) once the news of her impending divorce from Guy Richie became public.

This was no surprise to about two out of three people with an opinion on the subject who participated in a recent public opinion poll on the Vizu Answers research network.  Participants in another Vizu Answers poll already predicted back in May that 2009 was the most likely year for a Madonna - Guy Richie divorce.

The New York Post reported that the Madge and A-Rod hook up at the Seinfeld mansion in the Hamptons was like a scene out of James Bond involving helicopters, sports cars, black SUV's, and the celebrities themselves.
