Naked Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter

Daniel Radcliffe made a name for himself as a film actor in the roll of Harry Potter.  While it would be almost impossible to top a role like that, Radcliffe definitely made as splash with his first Broadway appearance by agreeing to perform nude scenes in the play, Equus.

Radcliffe's nudity raised the issue of whether or not he remains an appropriate actor for future Harry Potter films.  However, in a recent public opinion poll conducted on the Vizu Answers research network, almost two thirds of the respondents felt that Radciffe's nude scenes do not make him and inappropriate Harry Potter.

Perhaps the naked pictures and naked videos of Daniel Radcliffe now circulating on the Internet will make some people reconsider things, especially those who have children who are Harry Potter fans and might want to look him up on line.

Ashley Alexandra Dupre to Pose Nude & Write a Book

Eliot Spitzer's high priced hooker, Ashley Alexandra Dupre will be posing nude and possibly writing a book to cash in on her new found celebrity.

According to a recent poll, two thirds of the respondents think that Ashley Alexandra Dupre, formerly Ashley Youmans, think that she will pose nude.  Another 25% think she'll write a book and 18% think she'll start charging more for her current line of work.

Of course if Ashley is successful with her $10 million dollar lawsuit against Girls Gone Wild owner, Joe Francis, she might not have to work again.

Seinfeld Plagiarism Lawsuits To Be Settled or Dropped

Missy Chase Lapine recently alleged that Jessica Seinfeld "brazenly plagiarized" from her 2007 book The Sneaky Chef and accused Jerry Seinfeld of defaming her by calling her a "wacko" in an interview with David Letterman.

The public thinks that Jerry Seinfeld's wife, Jessica, probably plagiarized some of the recipes in her new cookbook, Deceptively Delicious.  But according to recent public opinion research, the public does not think that the lawsuits against the Seinfelds are likely to stick.

Only time will tell if the title of Jessica's cookbook actually conveyed a subliminal message.

Oprah's Favorite Things - Best Book/CD/DVD Gift

Oprah's favorite things list came out just in time for holiday shopping.  Among the products on the list were a handful of entertainment items:  Josh Groban's Noel CD, O's Guide to Life, The Pillars of Earth by Ken Follett, and United Artists 90th Anniversary Prestige Collection of DVDs.

If you are wondering which item makes the best gift, it's the United Artists 90th Anniversary Prestige Collection according to a recent public opinion poll conducted on Vizu's network of entertainment oriented websites.  Of course, that was also the most expensive gift on the list in the study.  If you want to maximize your bang for the buck, go with Josh Groban's Noel CD.

Tangy, Tart, Hot and Sweet Padma Lakshmi is an Easy Exotic

The titles of Padma Lakshmi's cookbooks seem normal enough.  Without any knowledge of the author, Tangy, Tart, Hot and Sweet and Easy Exotic sound like typical names for cookbooks.  But Padma Lakshmi is not your every day, run of the mill cookbook author or chef.  She is also a sexy, sultry model and TV personality on the Bravo network's Top Chef.

Perhaps Padma Lakshmi or her publisher are trying to insinuate something with the titles of her cookbooks.  Perhaps not.  But going with the notion that there is more to the titles than just a description of the recipes inside the books, the question arises as to which title most aptly describes this Indian beauty?

According to a public opinion poll conducted on Vizu's networks of food and entertainment sites, Padma Lashmi would be best described at an easy exotic as opposed to tangy, tart, hot, and sweet.  Prior research about Padma Lakshmi indicated that of the four adjectives (tangy, tart hot and sweet), she is mostly hot and tart while only mildly sweet and tangy.

Padma Lakshmi & Jessica Seinfeld's Revealing Cookbook Titles

Jessica Seinfled, Jerry's wife, and Padma Lakshmi, Salman Rushdie's recent ex-wife, recently released cookbooks.

Jessica's cookbook, Deceptively Delicious, bills itself as "simple secrets to get your kids eating good food."  Padma Lakshmi's cookbook, Tangy, Tart, Hot & Sweet, is described as a world of recipes for every day.  But the real question is what do the titles of these cookbooks say about their respective authors.

Given the plagiarism charges leveled against Jessica Seinfeld for her cookbook, the title Deceptively Delicious might to ring a little too close to home.  On the other hand, a quick search of the internet for pictures of Padma Lakshmi who is also a model and TV personality and one will quickly realize that she could easily be described as tangy, tart, hot, & sweet.

Were these women trying to tell us something?  Perhaps.

Jessica Seinfeld Probably Plagiarized Recipes for her Cookbook

Despite husband Jerry's defense, Jessica Seinfeld has suffered charges of plagiarism for her new cookbook, Deceptively Delicious.   In particular, people have cited similarities to Missy Chase Lapine's cookbook, The Sneaky Chef.

Despite many well reasoned defenses against Jessica Seinfeld's plagiarism allegations, the public thinks that Jessica is probably a plagiarist.  According to a public opinion poll conducted on Vizu's network of entertainment and food related websites, more than two thirds of the respondents feel like Jessica Seinfeld probably or definitely plagiarized some recipes for her cookbook.

O.J. Simpson's Girlfriend, Christine Prody, Will Write a Book

Christine Prody, O.J.'s girlfriend, will write a book about her time with O.J. Simpson according to a recently completed public opinion poll. 

72% of the respondents who expressed an opinion on the poll which was run on Vizu's network of entertainment oriented websites, said they thought Christine would write a book.  31.6 percent of the poll respondent's took a page out of O.J.'s playbook and said, "No Comment."

Rosie O'Donnell Rips Barabara Walters but Babs Triumphs

It has been widely revealed that Rosie O'Donnell rips Barbara Walters in her forthcoming book, Celebrity Detox: The Fame Game which is due to hit store shelves a week from today on October 9th.

Though Rosie claims that she and Barbara are now friends who "have found a way to love each other," she recounts yelling "You're a liar" to Barbara.  Rosie goes on to recount saying to her friend, Barbara, "you did not defend me. And I have been a good, loyal daughter to you. And I want you to be a good mother to me. Don't let the bad man hurt me" in relation to Rosie's well known spat w/ The Donald.

In the end, it's what the public thinks of celebrities.  As far as that is concerned, Barbara is preferred to Rosie which might be why Barbara Walters is still on The View and Rosie hit the road.

In a recent public opinion poll conducted on Vizu's network of entertainment related websites,  54% percent of respondents said that they prefer Barbara Walters to Rosie O'Donnell.  Prior research also revealed that Elisabeth Hasselbeck was also preferred to Rosie.

Salman Rushdie - Padma Lakshmi Divorce Dispute

Salman Rushdie and Padma Lakshmi recently announced their intention to divorce each other, but who is leaving who is a bit of a mystery.

Statements from both parties sent mixed signal with Rushdie indicating that Lakshmi is leaving him, while Lakshmi's statement indicates a mutual decision.

"Salman Rushdie has agreed to divorce his wife Padma Lakshmi, because of her desire to end their marriage," said Rushdie's agent.  Padma Lakshmi's agent said, in turn, that Padma "has agreed with her husband-author, Salman Rushdie, to end their marriage."  And went on to say, "After an eight-year relationship including over three years of marriage, Lakshmi regrets that their mutual efforts failed to make the marriage work."

So the questions naturally arise as to who is leaving who and why?

Clearly both Salman Rushdie and Padma Lakshmi lead busy, complicated lives.  Padma is a model, film actress, writer and TV personality currently hosting Top Chef.  Salman is a world renown author who was knighted by the Queen of England only a couple of weeks ago for his contribution to literature.

Other information that might influence your thoughts as to who is leaving who include the couple's age difference (Padma is 36 and Salman is 60), the fact that Rushdie has already been through three divorces, and possibly the fact that some Muslim fundamentalists recently renewed the 1989 fatwa against Rushdie for his recent knighting.  The fatwa essentially calls for Rushdie's execution.  You may recall that Rushdie lived in hiding for 10 years following a fatwa declared against him by the Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini in 1989.
