Alec Baldwin has proven himself a versatile actor. He has easily moved back and forth between TV and film and is at home in comedic and well as dramatic roles. In Rock of Ages, Baldwin has taken on perhaps his most ambitious role in which he plays aging ex-rocker and club owner, Dennis Dupree.
No Alec did not have to gain 50 pounds for this movie or learn a new accent, but he had to dye his hair blond and still come off as credible.

Gosh, there's a lot of helpful material above! Oh my god, there's so much useful material in this post!

Wow... I barley recognize Alec Baldwin. He definably looks better as a brunette.

This Rock of Ages movie seems like it's going to be epic. Last time I looked at the cast list it was unbelievable, I seem to remember Tom Cruise is in it, too! I don't think Alec looks too bad as a blonde.

What a committed actor to be able to grow his hair out like that and to color it. He looks alright as a blond!

It's not a fair question with these pics, his hair length is so different! I think he might look nice as a blonde but only if his hair was shorter.

Better as a brunette. Makes his pretty eyes pop more. :)

Better with dark hair. It's more...Him I guess. But as an actor if that's what he needs for a role then so be it!

He still looks good with dark or light hair, and is that Russell Brand next to him? that movie is going to be hilarious!
