Is Miley Cyrus becoming the new Lindsay Lohan? Let's see. Both Miley and Lindsay were once Disney stars. Both Miley and Lindsay have topless photos in Vanity Fair. Since Miley's parents have been separated, there have been racey pictures of Miley all over the place and pictures of Miley doing bong hits (of salvia).
Are DUI, rehab, drug addiction, nude photos, mug shots, probation, and assault charges just around the corner? Or will the good girl, Hannah Montana, return?
Lydia Hearst-Shaw was cast to play a character based on Lindsay Lohan in the comedic Dogs in Pocketbooks. Screen writer, Charles Cassillo says Lydia will play a "bratty movie goddess in and out of rehab, in trouble with the law, and hounded by greedy agents, predatory pararzzi, off-the-wall stalkers and crazed media." But, he adds that the movie is "in no way mean-spirited towards Lindsay."
Some wonder how much acting Lydia Hearst will actually have to do for this part given her real life status as a model, movie star, and TV star. Lydia even seems to change her hair color from brunette to blond and back again at about the same speed as Lindsay.
Patty Heart's daughter and an heir to the Hearst fortune, Lydia, has already been on Gossip Girls and was Model of the Year in 2007 and Best International Supermodel in 2008. Lydia has already starred in The Last International Playboy and was recently chosen to play Lindsay Lohan in the upcoming Dogs in Pocketbooks. On the personal side, Lydia (26) is purportedly dating Jeff Goldblum (58).
So at least on the surface, Lydia seems to have all it takes to become the next Paris Hilton. But will she pull it off?
