Dirty Dancing put Patrick Swayze on the map in 1987, and though he had some hits in his subsequent 20 years of performing, no other performance ever eclipsed his effort in Dirty Dancing.
According to and online survey conducted on Vizu's Power Poll network, 50% of the respondents selected Dirty Dancing as Swayze's best film. Only Ghost came close to that mark having been selected by 34% of the respondents.

Oh, Dirty Dancing. One part glamour, one part me getting a highly informative lesson from my mom about the history of abortion laws (I was in 7th grade when it came out).
But really, what a great movie. And one that would translate well to the stage, I bet.

I think that the only one that I remember him in was Dirty Dancing. The fact that I can't remember him in any other movie speaks for itself.
