Shannon Elizabeth - Derek Hough Romance Predictable

Pictures of Shannon Elizabeth & Derek Hough kissing on a beach in Malibu were posted yesterday by People Magazine.  The fact that Shannon Elizabeth and Derek Hough, partners on Dancing with the Stars, are now a couple comes as no surprise to Vizuble readers.  Almost 75% of Vizuble readers who participated in a poll posted on this site on March 24th, thought that Derek Hough and Shannon Elizabeth would hook up.

That makes three seasons in a row in which a Hough was involved in romance rumors on Dancing with the Stars.  First, Derek's sister, Julianne, was linked with Apollo Anon Ohno, then she rumors swirled about her and Helio Castroneves.  Now, in his first season on the show, Derek has hooked up with his dance partner.

You know what they say, "Like sister, like brother."

Shannon is a very stunning looking woman and one can see she does care so much for her partner Derek when he was on the stretcher when he hurt his neck. Why she even openly give him a kiss on the cheek. I think Derek and Shannon are a very beautiful looking couple!

If Apolo and Julianne weren't so lucky hooking up, then Derek was smart to step up with Shannon. His buddy Marky and Sabrina also hooked up last season...at least Derek and Marky were lucky to hook up with their dance partners.

It's hard to believe Shannon and Derek hooked up especially since she is about 12 years older than him, and has a steady boyfriend, who has been seated in the audience of DWTS since the first show.

It seems the Hough family really knows how to work the "showmance" angle. Julianne won twice in large part because she flirted with her partners and made the audience think they were a couple. (Some people actually still think she is with either Apolo or Helio.) Now Derek seems to be doing the same thing. It's a shame the Hough's can't just stick to dancing to win.

I agree that Hoofers Houghs need to utilize their showmance angle on their dance talents. Both Derek and Julianne are really good dancers and don't need to pretend there is the existence of romance angle to win votes.

IMO, Cheryl is the queen of showing "showmance", without going over the line, and keeping it classy. Maybe the Houghs need to take lessons. Love Derek!!!!

Yes, Cheryl has the showmance skills and keeps it classy. She doesn't throw herself on her male partners to win votes. Julianne is really a big cheat and deceit if she's teaching Derek to fake a romance to win the dance instead of honest winning.

Well, not the kissing parts. Pics can't lie, unfortunately, since I think Derek is a very handsome guy.
But it is his second season on the show. He was on last night season.

If Shannon and Derek have the meeting of the minds and hearts..GO FOR IT even if she's several years older. We don't know how long this romance will last..it could be a temporary thing only or it could be the real deal. Let them play it out!

I think the Derek/Shannon is the real deal romance and aren't doing it for votes. On ET, both said they have no significant others on the side.

Even though Shannon is several years older than Derek, she is very immature for her 34 years of age. Poor Derek! Shannon lost control of her emotion and start to bawl her eyes out because she didn't get scores she wanted from the judges.

Most women Shannon's age are married with children or at least are Mothers so for her to act so immature over a dancing show is silly. Granted she wants to win, but she probably did not have a chance of winning along, so how is she going to feel after the show is over and she looks back on how childess she acted.

Poor Derek, he is such a hard working sweetheart, and he has he hands full with a much older woman who is acting like a three year old. He does not look like a happy camper. I hope they get their act together this week or they are history. I was voting for them because I liked them, but now they had better sparkle in order to get any of my votes, and I am sure lots of people feel the same way!

Shannon and Derek acted like brats last week! Shannon must think she is a better dancer than she actually is. Her crying has become far too annoying. Derek seriously crossed a line when he attacked the other contestants. He is supposed to be a professional. A true professional would not have attacked judges and other dancers the way he did.

I realize they have fallen in love but Derek and Shannon need to control themselves!

I LOVE SHANNON AND DEREK. personally, i'd marry derek even if im 14. Shannon is a very good dancer and a really quick learner. Derek adds something special to every dance and it makes it funner to watch. Us true fans knew it all along, they are a couple. They can't hide it now. (:

The Hough family needs to realize that DWTS is a dance contest and NOT The Dating Game.
