Julianne Hough to fall for Apolo Anton Ohno?

Julianne Hough and Apolo Anton Ohno are racking up the points on Dancing with the Stars, but are they scoring with each other? 

Eighteen year old Julianne Hough grew up in Utah where Apolo Anon Ohno won two speed skating medals in the 2002 winter Olympics when Julianne was only thirteen years old.  Since then, Apolo Anton Ohno went on to win additional medals at the 2006 winter Olympics in Turin, Italy.  Meanwhile, Julianne went to high school, graduated, and moved to LA to pursue a career in singing, acting, and dancing.

Hough and Anton Ohno both showed extremely early dedication to their respective careers and made similar sacrifices.  Julianne moved to London at the tender age of ten to study dancing.  For his part, twenty five year old Anton Ohno, moved from his home in Seattle to the Lake Placid Olympic Training Center to train for short track speed skating at the ripe old age of fourteen.

Those early sacrifices seemed to pay off handsomely for the beautiful couple.  Aside from Anton Ohno's accomplishments in the Olympics, he has won eight U.S. National titles.  Just last month, he won three bronze medals and a gold at the world speed skating championships held in Milan, Italy.  Ms. Hough, on the other hand, became the youngest and only American to become both the Junior Blackpool World Latin Champion and International Youth Champion.

Almost seems like Julianne and Apolo were made for each other, and on the dance floor it even looks that way.

Oh no - I hope we are not starting a rumor.

First off, Apolo will be turning 25 this year. He is NOT 26.

Secondly, Julianne is engaged. She is getting married after DWTS wraps in May.

Sometimes good friends can last a life time, rather that short lived hook ups. I think they will go their separate ways when DWTS is over, but remain really good friends for years to come. She laughs a lot and seems so natural. I think she is the kind of person that cherishes her friendships. He is intensely into his sport, and we should respect that he is dedicated to winning for USA in Van C, Canada in 2010.It is really, really hard to keep a relationship when you are that so dedicated. A girl friend, unless she is really understanding and tolerate would just take up wayyyyyy too much time.

Julianne is such a darling girl! She is also a Morman. Morman girls are encouraged to get married asap to a young Morman man returning from his "mission". Even though she moved to London at a young age to study dance, I am guessing that the Mormon influence is so strong, that she is doing what she is told to do... marry a nice Mormon boy and have lots of babies. She's so young and so talented. Way too young to be getting married. What's the rush?? Maybe someone has some other information about her fiance, but that's my bet: Mormon boy (very lucky Mormon boy!) returns from him mission very soon.

No wonder there is so much depression among Utah women, but that's another story...

Just so everyone knows, I am friends with Julianne! And while she is a mormon, and is marrying a good mormon guy, if she is happy and wants to get married that young, LET HER!! The two are VERY much in love and are SOOO happy together! They are getting married this summer! He is already home from his mission. He is a dancer too! They are very cute!

Apolo and Julianne are great dance partners,nothing more. Let's leave them alone and just enjoy their dancing and help them WIN! Talking about them hooking up with each other hurts more than helps them. By the way, LDS is the proper term for Julianne's religious affiliation; LDS girls don't get married because they are "told to;" they don't all get married young and have tons of babies; Utah women aren't anymore depressed than any other women--Give me a break and give up all the stereotyping.

If Julianne and Apolo haven't fallen in love yet, they will after tonight's rhumba! They're samba was the best and I went back and listened to all the music that Julianne selected for them to dance to and there are some hidden messages in there - "If you don't know me by now" (waltz); "Two hearts beating as one" (quickstep); and tonight - don't know the name of the rhumba song but it talked about seeing the person with someone else but they are totally cool....whew hoo!

I'm just kidding folks, but my daughter and I sit there swooning over Apolo and Julianne and there is not a message board anywhere that is not routing for them as a couple on and off set.....and the fact that every week they keep saying "we're like brother and sister" me thinks thou dost protest too much!

Julianne, you are so mature and beautiful and have an incredible career ahead of you but you are only 18! Don't get married and have babies so young - there is plenty of time for you.....I'm sure your fiance is special, but there's a world of men out there and one is dancing with you week after week.....next song they need to dance to is "The closer I get to you....." tee hee.

Man, the chemistry between Apolo and Julianne is amazing. Their samba was so much fun. The choreography for the rhumba was incredible and they pulled it off really well.

You see that big smile from from the both of them at the end of the rhumba this week -- especially Apolo's? Great chemistry is hard to deny. That's why they keep on doing this "we're like brother/sister" stuff.

I disagree with the comment by meow, I don't think Apolo is gay. You can see the chemistry between Apolo and Julianne, but I think they are both on the a level of prfessionalism that they both want to win the competition, if there is more to the story they're doing a good job hiding it.
