Online video advertising is perhaps the brightest spot in the entire advertising universe right now. It is being fueled by a lot of investment dollars as well as ad dollars which are migrating away from traditional media.
Soon curiosity about the platform and experimentation will not, however, be enough to continue to drive growth. In order to for the growth in online advertising to sustain itself or accelerate, accountability and measurement will be crucial. Big digital video innovators like MTV and smaller ones like Blip.tv will drive this change and will ultimately need to come together around a standard for online video ad measurement.
Dan Beltramo, CEO of Vizu Corporation, an online brand advertising measurement firm, discussed the state of online video ad measurement and where the industry needs to go with Andy Plesser of Beet.tv.

I want to play three different flash streaming videos on my website,
but have them start exactly synced to each other. (And possibly have
sync points throughout the video so that they 'checkup' on one
another.)
Any ideas?
I'm currently using a Playstream/Vitalstream account to stream the
videos. I have access to Dreamweaver and Flash Pro, but am new to
flash.

Have you guys seen the new online advertising videos that try to make you interact with them? I find it a little over the top personally.
Watching a dish soap commercial while you're waiting for an online TV show to start and then having the screen freeze and an arrow tell you to "drag the detergent into the dishwasher". Seems cheesy to me.
